How to create an “MX” record?

An MX (Mail Exchange) record is a DNS (Domain Name System) record that identifies a server for handling email for a domain. The priority level assigned to an MX record establishes preferences when there are multiple MX records for one domain. A correct priority value assigns a preference to the primary MX record. In this fashion, backup MX records are given a lower priority. The lower the number, the higher the prority.
