Unfortunately, expired domains cannot
be transferred to another registrar. However, you still do have the option to
update the nameservers for your domain. Nameservers transfer your domain to
another hosting company. If you are interested in transferring your hosting from
one company to another, instructions to update your nameservers can be found
below:
• To update your nameservers, please login to your account and select on the "Domains" tab then choose the option for "Domain Services" from the drop down menu.
• Select the domain you wish to work with from the list.
• Locate and select the "Nameservers" link located on the top left-hand side of the page.
• Delete the current servers listed and enter the new server hostnames.
• Select the "Preview Changes" then "Confirm" to complete the changes. Propagation can take anywhere from 24-48 hours.
If you have plans to transfer your domain to another registrar, you will first need to renew your domain with our company then allow the 60 day "Promise Period" to pass before you initiate your transfer request with the gaining registrar. The "Promise Period" guarantees that your domain will receive the years which it was renewed for.
