Yes, we offer http redirects. To learn more about HTTP
Redirects and other Value Added Service, please click here. These essentially redirect a
domain name to a separate directory of an existing account much like a subdomain
(subweb). The difference between the two is that subwebs retain the second
domain name in the browser, while http redirects display the new URL for the
actual page being viewed.
For instance, if xyz.com is being redirected
to abc.com/xyz, once the redirect takes place the browser location will show
abc.com/xyz and NOT xyz.com, as a subweb would.
When someone types in
your domain name, they will be forwarded to an outside destination URL of your
choice and they will see the destination URL in their web browser. To set up
your http redirect, login to your account and select "Domains" then "Domain
Services" then "Web Service" located on the top left side of the page under the
"Preferences" heading. Please note that in order to use our free "Value Added
Service", your domain must be pointed to our default nameservers.
Another difference is that, unlike subdomains, http redirects can
utilize most FreeCGI and CGI.
